Blokka Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Blokka collects, uses, and stores your information when you use the app.

Definitions

  • Application: Blokka, the puzzle game
  • Company: ("we", "us", "our")
  • Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual
  • You: The individual using the app

Types of Data Collected

Account Data You can play Blokka without creating an account. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we store a user profile in Firebase containing your coin balance, owned cosmetic items (skins and backgrounds), and purchased level packs. This allows your progress to be restored if you reinstall the app.

Game Progress Level completion and best times are stored locally on your device and submitted to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games for leaderboard functionality. This data is managed by Apple and Google respectively, and subject to their privacy policies.

Multiplayer Data When using Party Mode, a temporary game session is created in Firebase Realtime Database containing your chosen nickname and game results. This data is not linked to your account and is not retained after the session ends.

Local Storage Your coin balance, nickname, and game progress are cached locally on your device using standard device storage. This data never leaves your device unless you sign in with Apple or Google.

Use of Data We use the data we collect to:

  • Sync your coin balance and purchases across devices when signed in
  • Enable real-time multiplayer through Party Mode
  • Restore your level progress and leaderboard position after reinstallation
  • Process and verify in-app purchases

In-App Purchases Blokka offers optional in-app purchases (coins and level packs). Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and we do not store any payment information.

Third-Party Services We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Authentication — for Apple and Google Sign-In
  • Firebase Realtime Database — for multiplayer game sessions
  • Cloud Firestore — for syncing account data across devices
  • Apple Game Center / Google Play Games — for leaderboards and progress restore
  • Apple In-App Purchase / Google Play Billing — for processing purchases

Data Retention Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app. If you are signed in, your account data in Firestore is retained until you delete your account. Multiplayer session data in Firebase Realtime Database is temporary and removed after sessions end.

Security We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules to protect your account data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.

Changes to This Policy We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
